Last month, LeEco and Coolpad jointly announced Cool Changer 1C; both companies have teamed up once again to announce the Cool Changer S1. The flagship device sports a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and backed by a 4,070mAh battery with 24W fast charging.
On the inside, the Cool Changer S1 relies on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35GHz paired along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage space. There are other cheaper options with either 4GB of RAM or 64GB built-in storage space.
The device has a unibody metal design, sports a rear fingerprint sensor and boots Android Marshmallow OS with LeEco’s EUI 5.8 on top. It is equipped with a fingerprint sensor, Dual SIM slot, Harman Kardon amplifier and also comes with AKG N18 custom headphones for Hi-Fi CDLA audio experience.
Photography is handled by a rear facing 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture dual-tone LED flash alongside a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and video chats. The standard model (6GB RAM/128GB storage) costs CNY 3199 (US$ 460) while the medium level (6GB RAM/64GB storage) costs CNY 2699 (US$ 388).
The last option (4GB RAM/64GB storage) costs CNY 2499 (US$ 359). The Cool Changer S1 comes in Champagne Gold, Black Night and Black Streamer colors.
