Chinese mobile device maker, Coolpad has a new entry-level phablet-sized device in the works. The Coolpad B770 as the device is known, has been certified by Chinese regulatory agency – TENAA. As expected, the listing has the key specifications of the device as well as the images.
Moving to the Coolpad B770 Specs, it uses a plastic body build and sports a 5.5-inch TFT display with a screen resolution meant for smaller screen devices – 960 x 540 pixels (qHD). It relies on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (possibly the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4xx series) with 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. In the camera aspect, there is a rear facing 8-megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
Measuring 153 x 77.5 x 8.6 mm in dimensions, the Coolpad B770 weighs in at 165 grams and is compatible with GSM, TD-SCDMA & TD-LTE networks. There is no information on the battery capacity but the device should have Dual SIM slots and will boot Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
