Chinese brand, Coolpad has also entered the Indian market with the Coolpad Dazen 1 and Coolpad Dazen X7 smartphones. The company would be selling its Dazen brand of devices alone for now in India.
The Coolpad Dazen 1 is priced at INR 6999 and the Coolpad Dazen X7 at INR 17,999; both devices would be available exclusively from online retail platform – Snapdeal.com starting June 9. Registrations are reportedly underway for both devices.

The Coolpad Dazen 1 is more of a budget smartphone; it sports a 5-inch HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. It comes with Dual SIM support, a microSD card slot, supports 4G LTE networks, rear 8MP camera, front 5MP camera, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
The Coolpad Dazen X7 on the other hand is a midrange smartphone; it sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display, powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6595 processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. It also supports 4G LTE networks, Dual SIM slots, front 5MP camera, rear 13MP camera, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 2700mAh battery.
