Recently on the Chinese version of Twitter – Weibo, Pop star Han Geng published a prototype of what is expected to be the Coolpad Dazen X7 and it is made entirely from Glass.
The Dazen X7 will pack high end-specs and would definitely no come with standard smartphone materials like Plastic or Aluminium but Glass. Some sources say it would come with a casing made from Glass and Metal alloy.
The Coolpad Dazen X7 is expected to be announced officially on January 8th, 2015. We will just have to wait and see if the smartphone would be made entirely of Glass or not. And we already have a tip that the smartphone could cost around 5000 RMB ( around USD $825) but we don’t think the brand will be able to command such price tag from people.
Some of the rumoured specs includes – 5 ” to 5.5″ FHD display, octa-core Mediatek SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage space, Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS, Dual Hybrid SIM slots, 13MP main camera, 8MP front facing camera for video chats and backed by a 2700mAh battery.
Coolpad has been busy working on its Dazen subsidiary of late; Dazen is coined from the word ‘Dare’ and ‘Zenith’ with industry insider stating it is aiming for the youth demographic.
