Coolpad Fengshang MAX phablet debuts with Dual-Mode LTE, Fingerprint sensor and 3GB RAM

One of the top mobile carriers in China, China Telecom has teamed up with Coolpad to launch a new phablet in the home country. The one in question is the Coolpad Fengshang MAX which has no branding of the telco company at the back and is available exclusively from it for CNY 2699 ($423).

Moving to the specifications, the Coolpad Fengshang MAX has an all metal body build and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. It sports a 5.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space.

For photography, there is a front facing 5-megapixels for selfies as well as video chats and a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with LED flash. For unlocking the device, apps and possibly mobile payment authentication, there is a fingerprint sensor below the main camera.

Connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, micro USB 2.0 and 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4). The Dual SIM enabled Coolpad Fengshang MAX runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OSS, has Dual SIM slots (Nano + Nano) with Dual LTE mode and is backed by a 2800mAh battery that can provide up to a day of usage.
