Coolpad’ Sub-brand, Ivvi has announced a new slim smartphone – the Coolpad Ivvi Little i. The 4.9mm thin smartphone is aimed at the younger generations with a different colour options and looks more like an entry-level device.
The smartphone doesn’t impress much interms of specs but the body build is attractive. It uses a 2.5D Glass on the display and the back is made from metal. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306, 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage.
The display is a 5-inch size with AMOLED panel and the resolution is HD (1280 x 720 pixels). On the rear there is a 8MP camera with LED flash and front facing 5MP camera. The Coolpad Ivvi Little i is backed by a rather small 1950mAh battery but some sacrifices have to be made to get a slim body, right?. It also misses the point by running Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box.
The Coolpad Ivvi Little i is available on JD.Com in China for a price tag earmarked to be CNY 1999 ($322) in Black, Gold and Silver colour options. There is a Special Version which costs CNY 2199 ($354) and comes in the same colour option as the regular version.
At one point, Coolpad had the slimmest smartphone in the world – the Coolpad Ivvi K1 Mini which measures around 4.7mm in dimensions. The smartphone also had remote control abilities that can control TVs, Refrigerators, and Washing machines.
