Today, we round up some of the new smartphones that has been released recently – the Coolpad Legacy Brisa, Huawei P Smart 2021, OPPO Reno 4 SE 5G, and Tecno POVA. All four devices are based on different skins of Android 10, octa-core processors, and long-lasting batteries.
Coolpad Legacy Brisa
Boost Mobile has commenced sales of the Coolpad Legacy Brisa for a price tag starting at US$ 79.99 for new customers at authorised retail stores and for free to new customers who switch to Boost mobile. The device has a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 16MP selfie camera, and 4,000mAh battery. It is backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage. For entertainment, Boost Mobile customers will enjoy immersive THX Spatial Audio for listening over headphones, HDR from Pixelworks, and multi-streaming Bluetooth with Tempow.
Huawei P Smart 2021
Huawei has unveiled the successor to last year’s P Smart 2020 smartphone in Europe – the Huawei P Smart 2021. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.3% screen-to-body ratio, Kirin 710A octa-core SoC, 4GB of RAM, 128GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera and a quad rear camera system with 48MP (f/1.8) main, 8MP (f/2.4, 120O FOV) ultrawide, 2MP (f/2.4) depth and 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensors. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging support and pricing starts at EUR 229 in Europe.
OPPO Reno 4 SE 5G
The latest addition to OPPO’s Reno series offers dual-mode 5G connectivity, 360-degree antenna design, 3D textured back , 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge technology to complement its 4,300mAh dual-cell battery, and ColorOS 7.2 (based on Android 10). It packs a 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED display with 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, MediaTek Dimensity 720 (MT6853V) processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB (UFS 2.0) storage, 48MP (f/1.7) + 8MP (f/2.2, 119O FOV) + 2MP (f/2.4) triple rear cameras and 32MP (f/2.4) selfie camera in the punch-hole. Pricing is set at CNY 2,499 (8GB + 128GB) and CNY 2,799 for (8GB + 256GB).
Tecno POVA
Tecno has announced the rebranded its PouVoir series of devices into POVA, which stands for Powering Optimal Value and Ambitions. The first smartphone from the line is the self-branded Tecno POVA. It is based on the MediaTek Helio G80 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The rest of the specs include: 6.8-inch Dot-In HD+ Display, 8MP AI selfie camera with dual-front flash, 13MP (f/1.85) + 2MP depth + 2MP macro lens + AI lens with super quad flash and 6,000mAh battery with 18W Dual IC Flash charge. It boots HiOS 7.0 (based on Android 10).
