Coolpad has announced the launch of its latest budget smartphone for the offline market – the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C. The new entrant is the cheaper model of the existing Coolpad Note 5 Lite which has similar features such as Fingerprint sensor and Voice over LTE (VoLTE).
Sporting a unibody metal design, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D curved glass display, 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) mobile platform, 2GB RAM, Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano/microSD) and 16GB built-in storage.
In the camera segment, there is a rear 8MP sensor with LED flash and f/2.4 aperture, alongside a front facing 5MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture. The device comes pre-loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat OS with Cool UI 8.0 and depends on a 2,500mAh battery which should last about a day of usage.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C measures 142.4 x 70.4 x 7.95 mm, weighs 139 grams and is on sale for Rs. 7,777 (US$ 122). It will arrive in Gold and Grey colour options starting August 5 across multi-brand stores (up to 3,000 of them) in eight Indian states – Andhra Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.
