Coolpad has added a new selfie-centric Note series smartphone in India – the Coolpad Note 6. The latest Note entrant features a rear facing 13MP (f/2.2) camera with PDAF and LED flash; and 8MP + 5MP dual front facing cameras with the capability to capture 120-degree wide-angle selfies. The camera app offers features such as Beauty mode, Motion mode, Erase mode, Panorama and more.
The Coolpad Note 6 has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass and 70% screen-to-body ratio. It has dual SIM sots, measures 153.7 x 76.4 x 8.62 mm, weighs 170 grams and depends on a 4,070mAh battery that promises up to 350 hours of standby time.
On the inside, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core Mobile Platform paired with 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD slot). It also boots the now dated Android 7.1 Nougat OS with Coolpad’s UI on top and the fingerprint sensor built into the home button.
The Coolpad Note 6 is available from offline stores at 300+ multi-brand stores across 8 states – Delhi NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra in India. It is priced at Rs. 8,999 (US$ 135) for the 32GB and Rs. 9,999 (US$ 150) for the 64GB storage model.
