The Coolpad Note 8 is the latest to grace Coolpad’s Note smartphone series for the Indian market. It is on sale exclusively on Paytm Mall for an aggressive price tag of INR 9,999 (USD 137) and marks the first time the brand is partnering with Paytm for any of its smartphones.
The Coolpad Note 8 has a 5.99-inch FHD+ 2.5D Curved display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a lasting 4,000mAh battery. It is powered by the Mediatek MT6750 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD).
Photography is handled by 16MP (f/2.0) + 0.3MP dual rear cameras with LED flash and front facing 8MP (f/2.2) camera with support for face unlock. The fingerprint sensor sits just below the vertically-aligned dual rear cameras at the back. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
