Chinese tablet maker, Cube has announced a new 2-in-1 tablet which also boots Dual OS. Dubbed the Cube Mix Plus, the slate is the first model from the brand featuring the 7th-gen Intel Core “Kaby Lake” processor and comes with both Windows 10 OS and Android OS pre-installed.
The Cube Mix Plus features a 10.6-inch IPS display like the Cube i7 Stylus and Cube i7 Book but instead comes with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). It also a Wacom digitizer for digital pen input and the detachable keyboard allows for usage either as a laptop or stand-alone tablet.
On the inside, it relies on a quad-core Intel Core M3-7Y30 “Kaby Lake” 6th gen processor clocked up to 2.6GHz with Intel HD Graphics 615 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD storage.Other features of the slate includes 1x micro USB 3.0 port, a microSD card reader, USB 3.1 Type-C port and a 5MP AF rear camera.
It also has a 3.5mm headphone, stereo speakers, front 2MP camera, USB OTG and backed by a 4300mAh battery which should last up to 8 hours of usage. Pre-orders for the Cube Mix Plus tablet is underway and pricing starts at $475.
