Chinese tablet maker, Cube has a new phablet running Android Lollipop OS and supports 4G LTE. The Cube T6 as the phablet is known, is a budget based device which is expected to sell for around CNY 599 ($97) and is expected to be available soon.
Moving to the specs, the almost-tablet sized Cube T6 features a 6.98-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS Capacitive touchscreen with 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT8735 (four x Cortex A53 cores) processor clocked at 1.3 GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a TF microSd card slot for storage expansion.
On the rear there is a 2MP camera and there is a front facing VGA camera. Connectivity options on the tablet includes – USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 , micro USB port, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Miracast, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, 2G, 3G and Sensor options includes – Gravity and light sensor.
The Cube T6 also supports 4G LTE connectivity (LTE-FDD Bands – B1/B3/B7) and supports Dual SIM functionality with Dual Standby. It measures 191.1 x 99 x 9.5mm in dimensions, weighs 240 grams, runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 3500mah battery.
