Also experiencing the fierce competition in the current tablet market, popular Chinese tablet maker, Cube has delved into laptops and notebooks categories with the Cube U1 Cloud Notebook. The 14.1-inch sized device boots Dual OS and has a low power consumption fanless design.
The Cube U1 Cloud Notebook sports a 14.1-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels TN display and is powered by a 64-bit Intel Baytrail-CR Z3735F quad core processor clocked at 1.33GHz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space which is also expandable up to 32GB.
As mentioned earlier, the device boots Dual OS i.e it enjoys the best of both Android-based Remix OS 2.0 and Windows 10 OS in terms of overall features. For seamless switching from one OS to another, the ‘dual system hot start’ is included. For photography, a front facing 0.3-megapixels and rear facing 2-megapixels camera, both are available.
Connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI port, USB OTG and GPS. The Cube U1 Cloud Notebook relies on a 10000mAh battery and is expected to have last somewhat long on standby as well as when in usage. No official word on pricing yet.
