Pretty known Chinese tablet maker, Cube has announced the Cube WP10 – a 7-incher which obviously qualifies as a tablet but the company prefers to call it a smartphone. It is based on Microsoft’s Windows 10 Mobile and powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor with Adreno 304 GPU.
Measuring 187.7 x 97.7 x 7.6 mm in dimensions and tipping the scales at 248 grams, the Cube WP10 sports a 6.98-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space, a microSD card slot (expandable up to 128GB), Dual SIM slots and backed by a 2850mAh battery.
For photography, there is rear facing 5 megapixel AutoFocus camera with LED flash alongside a front facing 2 megapixel camera for selfies and video chats. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G (FDD-LTE 1800/2100MHz) networks as well as USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
The Cube WP10 makes clear voice calls and arrives with recent Windows 10 apps such as Cortana and Edge browser. For those willing to purchase this phablet outside China should check the network bands are compatible with those supported in your country. It is currently priced at $138 on Gearbest and could be purchased for $186 on AliExpress.
