Chinese based, Cubot has partnered with Kilimall to launch the Cubot Note S in Kenya. Looking to take on already established brands in the market such as Infinix, Tecno and Wiko, the Note S will be available exclusively in the market via Kilimall in Champagne Gold, Matte Black and Pearl White colours.
Expected to deliver deliver a perfect balance of powerful performance, fast connectivity with a long battery life; the Cubot Note S sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720) HD display, powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. And for handling photography, there is a front facing 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats and a rear facing 8-megapixel f/2.0 camera with LED flash and 4P Blue lens.
The Cubot Note S supports 2G and 3G networks as well as micro USB, Bluetooth, USB OTG, Wi-Fi and GPS. It measures 152.3 x 77.2 x 8.8 mm in dimensions, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a removable 4150mAh battery which provides up to 2 days of mixed usage.
