Cubot has introduced a new smartphone with sizeable battery capacity – the Cubot Dinosaur, which happens to be the upgrade to the company’s Note S and brings a couple of improvements as well. There is no word on pricing yet but the device is expected to be priced moderately.
Housed in a plastic body build with textured patterned back and available in Black, Golden & White colours, the Cubot Dinosaur sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with a pixel density of 267 ppi, measures 152.3 x 77.2 x 8.8 mm in dimensions and is backed by a 4150mAh Lithium battery.
Under the hood, the Dinosaur is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6735A processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage space. For photography, there is a rear facing 13MP AutoFocus camera with 4P Lens, LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.
The front camera is a 5MP snapper with intelligent beauty for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options available includes 4G LTE / 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, Hotknot and GPS/A – GPS. The Cubot Dinosaur has Dual-SIM slots and is stated to run Android 6.0 Marshmalllow OS out-of-the-box.
