Cubot has expanded its line of affordable rugged phones with the Cubot King Kong 3. Predictably, the device has outdoor focused features such as 6face anti-dropping, IP68-certification (dust and water resistance), 1.5m waterproof and -30°C – 60°C working temperature range.
The Cubot King Kong 3 sports a 5.5-inch 18:9 GFF display with 400nits of brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass protection and rear fingerprint sensor. It has a custom hardware button on the left side and power is supplied by a 6,000mAh battery with 9V/2A (18W) fast charging.
Internally, the smartphone boots Android 8.1 Oreo OS and relies on the Mediatek Helio P23 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. For photography, there are 16MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with 1A LED flash and a front 13MP (f/2.2) camera with Beauty Mode.
The Cubot King Kong 3 arrives with support for USB Type-C port, 4G Networks (Full Netcom), NFC, GPS + Glonass and sensors such as gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor and compass.
