Chinese OEM, Cubot has a new smartwatch offering which like several others in the wearable market would offer notification and physical activity tracking features. The Cubot L9 smartwatch as it is known, comes with some exciting specs but but we don’t know how much it costs yet and when it would be launched.
The Cubot L9 smartwatch sports a square faced 1.4-inch (240 X 240 pixels) resolution capacitive touchscreen display with a stainless steel frame with rounded edges and swappable rubber strap bands. The bands are available in Black, Orange and White colours.
It is powered by a Mediatek MT2501 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 3GB of ROM. It comes with Waterproof rating which means the device could be uses outdoors in the rain or in the shower. Proving juice for the device is a 250 mAh battery.
The wearable pairs with smartphones (possible Android only) via Bluetooth to monitor physical activities – fitness tracking, calories burned, distance travelled and others. It also performs notification like features like text message, calls, emails, calender schedules and more. There is no word on what OS the watch runs on.
