Cubot has unveiled an affordable entry level smartphone – the Cubot P11. Unlike other LTE enabled offerings such as the Cubot H1 and Cubot X15, the P11 supports only 3G connectivity and sports a sparkling 3D back cover texture in Black, Gold and White colour options.
Talking about the key features, the Cubot P11 sports a 5-inch IPS OGS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 294ppi. It measures 143.9 x 71.5 x 7.9mm in dimensions, weighs 142 grams and and there are three capacitive buttons below the display.
Under the hood, the P11 is powered by quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-400 MP GPU, 8GB internal storage space and for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.
On the back lies the main 13MP Autofocus f/2.0 camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP cameras for selfies. Connectivity options on the Cubot P11 includes USB OTG, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G HSPA+ but no 4G LTE connectivity.
The device has Dual Micro SIM slots, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a 2200mAh battery which is expected to provide up to a day of mixed usage.
