Recently, Cubot introduced a new battery-centric smartphone at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics fair in Hong Kong. Alongside the Cubot Power, the Chinese device maker also unveiled alongside other models such as the Cubot X18 Plus, Cubot P20, Cubot Nova and more.
The Cubot Power is backed by a befitting 6,000mAh battery (built-in) with 5V/2A (10W) fast charging and charges via USB Type-C port. It is expected to last up to 600 hours of standby time; 50 hours of music playback time, 46 hours of voice call time or 15 hours of video playback time.
The smartphone comes pre-loaded with stock Android 8.1 Oreo OS and relies on Mediatek’s Helio P23 (MT6763T) octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage (also expandable up to 128GB). It supports 4G LTE networks (1, 3, 7, 8 & 20) as well as Bluetooth 4.2 and dual band Wi-Fi.
The Cubot Power packs a 6-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio, hybrid dual nano SIM slots, rear facing 20MP AF camera with f/2.0 6-part lens and front 13MP FF selfie camera, rear fingerprint sensor (0.1s unlock time). It will arrive in Black and Blue colour options, and has a RRP of USD 270.
