Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Cubot has announced the Cubot X11 smartphone with a slim profile body build and beautiful body build but at the expense of a microSD card slot and a removable battery. The company has not detailed the pricing but it is expected to be priced accordingly (affordable).
The phablet sized Cubot X11 measures 6.5mm thin and has a metal body build with glass protection the front and rear. It is also IP68 certified which means asides being slim, it is also waterproof and dust proof.
Moving to the specs details, the Cubot X11 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) JDI (Sharp) made IPs display, powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592A processor clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali-450 MP4 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is no microSD card slot onboard for storage exppansion.
The main camera is a 13MP Sony IMX214 Exmor RS sensor and a front 8MP camera. It supports 2G and 3G networks but no mention on 4G LTE; other standard connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-fi Hotspot and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n are present too. It measures 75 x 151.3 x 6.5 mm in dimensions, weighs 150 g, supports Dual SIM functionality (Micro SIMs), runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a non-removable 2850mAh battery.
