Apple makes some of the ‘prettiest smartphones’ in the world and it’s normal to see some Chinese manufacturers designing their smartphones with the same design. We started seeing iPhone 6 (iPhone 6 plus inclusive) clones even before the device’s went official and even some months after its is not looking to pipe down anytime soon.
First of all, this is the first device we would be talking about coming from Dakele and its a blatant iPhone 6 clone/rip off. Asides sporting the iPhone 6 design and body build, the Dakele 3 sure comes with top-notch specs as you would have expected. The principle is still always bringing flagship specs at a cheaper rate.
The Dakele 3 features a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Sapphire Screen protection. The screen has an impressive pixel density of 441ppi. The body build is interesting too, the outer frame is said to be made from aircraft grade aluminium and the internal frame from titanium. The inclusion of titanium is to make sure the device does not bend and it’s extra thickness (7.5mm) makes sure the camera does not protude.
Under the hood is a 64-bit Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor which clocks at 1.7GHz with Mali-T760 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. On the back, there is a 13MP Sony IMX214 sensor and there is a 8MP Sony IMX219 sensor on the front too.
The Dakele 3 obviously runs on Android; supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, TDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA/GSM connectivity and is backed by a 2500mAh battery. Like any layman would guess, the company however couldn’t come up with the Touch ID sensor on the home button.
That’s all it is to say about specs, to lay hands on this iPhonish Dakele 3 you would have to shell out $240. Looks like it’s not only Xiaomi that Apple should be worrying about.
