Following announcing the Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets, Dell has announced the all in one Desktop PC that can also work as a tablet.
The Dell Inspiron 20 3000 Series features a 19.5-inch 1600 x 900 pixels resolution (touchscreen and non-touchscreen option) HD display, and powered by a user option of Intel Celeron Dual Core N2830 Processor or an Intel Pentium Quad Core N3530 Processor with intel HD graphics and also user option of 2GB or 4GB of RAM.
The device also features a 720p Webcam, built-in speakers, integrated microphone, headset Jack, Kickstand built at the rear and 500GB hard drive with micro SDXC card reader. Connectivity options on the device includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3 – USB 2.0 ports, 10/100 Ethernet. Dell also offers a wireless and wired mouse and Keyboard option.
The touchscreen variant of the Dell Inspiron 20 weighs 3.62Kg while the non-touchscreen variant weighs 3.08kg; but it is however not clear if the device would run Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 with Bing and Ubuntu or there would be an option to switch between both.
The Dell Inspiron 20 3000 Series is expected to be available in the US as from July 1 in two variants – the touchscreen model costs $450 and the non-touchscreen model costs $350.
