Dell had unveiled refreshed versions of the Dell Venue 8 and Venue 7 tablets at the Computex 2014 event in Taiwan. Both refreshed versions of the Venue 8 and Venue 7 Tablets run Android 4.4 kitkat out of the box.

The Dell Venue 8 (2014) features a 8-inch 1920 × 1200 pixels resolution HD display, powered by a 2.1GHz Intel Atom Z3480 Merrifield processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB with micro SD card support), 5MP rear camera, 2MP front facing camera and runs on the Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
The Dell Venue 8 measures 216 x 130 x 8.95mm, weighs 338g.
The Dell Venue 8 comes with added accessories like the Bluetooth portable speaker, Bluetooth Keyboard Folio, Duo tablet case and also the Dell Venue cradle which is used for charging the tablet wirelessly.

The Dell Venue 7 (2014) features. 7-inch IPS WXGA 1280 x 800 pixels resolution HD display, powered by 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z3460 Merrifield processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB with micro SD support), 5Mp rear camera, 1MP front facing camera and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
The Dell Venue 7 measures 193 x 118 x 8.95 mm and weighs 290g.
Both the Venue 8 and Venue 7 are powered by a 4550mAh battery and would be available in Red and Black colour variants only.
Pricing and Availability
The Dell Venue 8 would be available as from July 1 on Dell’s online store with a price tag of $199 (roughly ₦33,000) and the Dell Venue 7 with a price tag of $160 (roughly ₦26,000).
