VERTU needs no introduction as they are one of the many available premium smartphone makers. The company which recently launched the Vertu Signature and is looking set to launch another luxury android smartphone – the Vertu Aster. The device appears to have been certified in the US by the FCC and in China by TENAA.
The Vertu Aster shares similar specs with the Signature but has a very different build to the latter. The device is expected to feature a 4.7-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution display, powered by a Snapdragon 800 chipset with a quad-core 2.3GHz Krait CPU, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and no microSD card slot.
On the camera front we have a 13MP camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera. Connectivity options on the device includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac. The Vertu Aster weighs 195 grams and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with Vertu’s own UI on top.
The Vertu Aster is made of rare materials – including both Titanium Alloy and Pure leather. The device has not been officially listed but for those who need to know the Vertu Signature itself costs over $10,000; the Vertu Aster is expected to cost more.
