Russian brand DEXP has a new midrange smartphone in the market called the DEXP Ixion Zenith. The phablet sized device comes with a number of eye-catching specs and a solid battery life. It is available for a price tag of RUB 15,999 (about US$245) in a single all Black colour option.
The camera features of the DEXP Ixion Zenith takes the centre stage; the main camera uses a Dual setup – 13MP camera with 5-element lens, f/2.0 aperture + 2MP camera with 3-element lens, f/2.4 aperture for depth. The front camera is a 5MP sensor with wide angle lens, f/2.0 aperture and front flash.
Dressed in a 7.3 mm thin metal body and backed by a sizeable 3200mAh battery, it sports a 5.5-inch Super-IPS OGS display made by LG with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD), a pixel density of 401 ppi, Oleophobic coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection (on the front and rear).
Under the hood, the device relies on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 ( 4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.0GHz) processor with Adreno 405 GPU with 3GB RAM and 16GB eMMC 5.0 storage from Samsung. It is equipped with an Hybrid Dual SIM slots which also doubles as the microSD card slot (up to 64GB).
The DEXP Ixion Zenith supports quick charging, 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks as well as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and GLONASS. It also comes with a dynamic loudspeaker sound box and pulsatory light indicator (LED) but devoid of a fingerprint sensor. The Android version it runs is not stated.
