Yet again, Doogee has announced a relatively budget smartphone – the Doogee Galicia X5. The chinese company is trying hard to give out infos on so many phones at the same time and only time will tell if they can meet up, with them having more than 5 smartphones arriving in August and September.
The Doogee Galicia X5 features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
Unusually, Doogee doesn’t state how much pixel the front and the rear camera will have, since it is not bragging about it we shouldn’t expect much. The Doogee Galicia X5 measures 143 x 72.2 x 8.8mm in dimensions and is backed by a 2200mAh battery. There is no word on the OS the device would run on, but we are expecting nothing less than Android 5.0 Lollipop and at worst the Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS.
The Doogee Galicia X5 would have a 3G versions as well as a 4G LTE version; the 3G version would go official in August. Both smartphone are expected to be moderately priced when they go official. While there is no official pricing info yet, am thinking a Sub-$50 price tag or a little more than that could be it. Any takers?
