Joining the likes of Oukitel and Xiaomi, Doogee is set to release its second-generation MIX smartphone – the Doogee MIX 2. It features a total of four cameras (two rear and two front cameras), edge-to-edge (FullScreen) display with 18:9 aspect ratio and support for facial recognition.
The Doogee MIX is equipped with dual rear cameras (16MP + 13MP) with dual-tone LED flash and 8MP + 8MP front cameras (one with Beauty 2.0 for selfies and the other with 130-degree wide-angle lens for group selfies). One of the front cameras is also used for facial recognition.
Under the hood, the device packs an octa-core Mediatek Helio P25 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB built-in storage. It sports a 5.99-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display, metal body frame + double sided Corning Gorilla Glass covering, 4060mAh Li-ion battery and boots Android 7.1 Nougat OS with Doogee’s UI on top.
The 64GB variant of the Doogee MIX 2 is expected to retail for US$ 230 while the 128GB variant is priced higher at US$ 280. To go along with the launch, Doogee is offering customers the opportunity to get the device starting at US$ 199.99 as well as win coupon codes (discounts) or giveaways.
