China based company, Doogee is doing its best of attracting media attention around the world with whether it is its entry-level, mid-range or high end smartphone. The company has added a new smartphone to the list with the Doogee Nova Y100X.
Moving to the specs, the Doogee Nova Y100X features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with 2.5D Glass, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and the body has anti-fingerprint coating to make sure you don’t have your prints all over the body. As revealed before, the device has its volume rockers at its back and the screen bezels measure around 1mm thin.
Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3Ghz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There should be a microSD card thrown into the mix to handle more storage space.
On the rear of the Doogee Nova Y100X lies a 8MP camera and there is a front facing 5MP camera with auto illumination for selfies; both cameras have Omnivision sensor. The phone measures 6.6mm thin, weighs around 119 grams and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
There is no word on the battery capacity, but the smartphone is expected to cost just the equivalent of $84.99 (CNY 529). The Doogee Nova Y100X would be available in China and India is another touted destination. Those looking to buy the device outside these locations can purchase through Chinese resellers.
