Shortly after the announcement of Mediatek’s new Helio P60 SoC with AI tech at the MWC 2018, Chinese device maker, Doogee unveiled detailed specs about its upcoming Doogee V flagship with the processor on-board. It is expected to be released in various European markets towards the end of March and beginning of April.
The Doogee V has a 6.21-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display with 2248 x 1080 pixels resolution (Full HD+), 19:9 aspect ratio and a U-shaped top front notch which houses the front camera, earpiece and ambient light sensor. It comes equipped with an under-screen fingerprint sensor, just like the Vivo X20 Plus UD.
For photography, the main camera setup include 16MP + 8MP dual rear cameras with dual LED flash, alongside a front facing 16MP moonlight camera for selfies and Face unlock (FaceID). The Helio P60 SoC on-board will be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage space.
Power will be supplied by a 4,000mAh battery and the Doogee V charges up via the USB-C port.
Other Doogee smartphones on display at the MWC 2018 include the Doogee MIX 4, BL12000 and a number of X series (X50/X53/X55/X60L). The Doogee MIX 3 has a rotatable camera which serves as the front and rear cameras, and also takes pictures at different angles.
The Doogee MIX 4 will feature a sliding screen with the upper module housing the screen and the lower module housing the under-screen fingerprint sensor.
