Doogee has just unveiled a new entry-level smartphone which almost no-one will buy unless those attracted by the US$ 40 price tag and durable battery life. The Doogee X10 packs a sizeable 3360mAh battery which lasts 24 – 30 hours of talk time, 16 days of standby time, 18 hours of video playback time and 20 hours of music playback time.
On the inside, the Doogee X10 relies on the popular Mediatek MT6570 3G-only processor paired with 512MB and 8GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 32GB via microSD). It has a 5-inch IPS display with an unimpressive 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) screen resolution, pixel density of 196 ppi and 1000:1 contrast ratio.
Photography is handled by a rear facing 5MP camera with LED flash and anti-shake, alongside a front 0.3MP (VGA) camera for video calls and weird selfies. It also offers additional camera functions such as auto beauty mode, facial recognition and panorama mode.
The Doogee X10 also has a stylish Zinc-alloy metal body frame, Dual ID account for social media accounts and boots the dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Champagne Gold, Obsidian Black and Space Silver are the available colour options.
