Doogee, one of the competitively priced Chinese brands, has listed up a new smartphone on its official website – the Doogee X9 Mini. The entry-level offering sports a metal body frame, 5-inch fully laminated IPS display with (1280 x 720 pixels) screen resolution and 2.5D curved glass.
Presumably to keep the very low, the Doogee X9 Mini relies on the then popular and now dated Mediatek MT650A quad-core processor paired along with 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 64GB via microSD). Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the operating system onboard.
As expected, it has Dual SIM slots and supports only 2G and 3G networks. In the camera department, the main camera is a 5MP snapper with Auto-Focus and LED flash alongside a front facing 5MP camera with flash, 84-degrees wide angle lens and auto beautify mode for selfies and video chats.
The DTouch fingerprint sensor, which can perform various functions, is embedded into the home button. The Doogee X9 Mini measures 145 x 72 x 8.9 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 164 grams and is backed by a 2000mAh battery. It will arrive in either Black or White colours, however, there still no word on pricing and availability for now.
