Doogee has announced the launch of a new phablet – the Doogee Y6 Max with a 6.95-inch display. It also has a variant – the Doogee Y6 Max 3D with the same screen size but with the ability to view 3D contents without requiring any special glass thanks to the usage of 3D – Parallax barrier technology.
Asides that, both the Doogee Y6 Max and Y6 Max 3D basically has the same specifications and are marketed as portable home theatres. The duo arrive with a FHD screen resolution, 2.5D Curved glass screen, full metal body frame and backed by a 4300mAh battery with 5V/2A fast charger.
Under the hood, an octa-core Mediatek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU run proceedings coupled along with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 128GB). It supports 4G+ (LTE Cat.6 2 x CA) and boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
On the rear, a fingerprint sensor accompanies the main 13MP ISOCELL camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), f/2.2 aperture, 5-piece lens and LED flash. The front snapper is a 5MP camera with 83-degree wide angle lens, f/2.2 aperture, Anti-Shake, Auto beautify mode and selfie countdown.
The Doogee Y6 Max (and Y6 Max 3D) has Dual SIM slots, measures 171.3 x 89 x 8.95 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 250 grams and supports Hi-Fi level sound output. There is no word on pricing nor availability.
