Cube has announced the Cube T8, an Android 5.1 Lollipop OS based tablet which is powered by a MediaTek SoC, supports 4G LTE, Dual SIM functionality with both SIMs having LTE support and comes with phone functions (making voice calls).
The Cube T8 features a 8-inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 16:10 aspect ratio and 178-degree viewing angle. Under the hood, It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT8735 quad-core Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage.
For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). The T8 comes with Dual SIM slots (with Dual Standby), dual 4G LTE networks, voice calling features and along with 4G LTE, it also supports the following connectivity options – A-GPS, GPS, micro HDMI port, micro USB port, Bluetooth, Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot and USB OTG.
Measuring 215 x 122.9 x 9.85mm in dimensions, the Cube T8 weighs 354 grams, has a rear facing 2MP camera, a front facing VGA (0.3MP) camera, FM Radio and is backed by a 4000mAh battery. As mentioned earlier, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is currently listed to be priced at $116.99.
