A new Dual SIM Microsoft Lumia device has been sported in Brazil; the aforementioned device is the Lumia 640 which would also come with Digital TV. It is expected to succeed the Lumia 630 and Lumia 635.
The Microsoft Lumia with the model number RM-1109 has been certified by the Anatel – Brazil’s Telecommunication Agency which is equivalent to FCC in the US and TENAA in China. The certification left some trace of the specs expected from the device.
The Lumia 640 (RM-1109) will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, HSDPA+, Digital TV support, Dual SIM functionality and would pack a generous 2500mAh battery. It is unknown whether the device would boot Windows 10 or the Windows Phone 8.1 OS when it launches.
Microsoft is also expected to announce the Lumia 645 alongside the Lumia 640, the former would sport LTE connectivity and would be heading to the US. Both smartphones would be the company’s fifth and fourth ‘Microsoft’ branded device.
Both the Lumia 640 and 645 could be announced at the MWC 2015. We will just have to keep tabs on this.
