EE announces the 8-inch 4G Harrier Tablet with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS

UK carrier, EE has announced a new budget tablet to the Harrier Line of devices from the company – the 4G Harrier Tablet. The company launched two affordable Android smartphones – the EE Harrier and EE Harrier Mini, under the Harrier line back in April.

Moving to the specs, the EE 4G Harrier Tablet has the same body design language as the Harrier and Harrier Mini smartphones above. It features a 8-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU.

Handling tasks on the slate is 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage for handling file storage. There is a microSD cars slot in the mix for storage expansion. On the rear there is a 8MP camera and there is a front facing 2MP camera. The 4G Harrier Tablet runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 4650mAh battery. 

The EE 4G Harrier Tablet as the name suggests supports 4G LTE connectivity; it supports LTE Cat.4 mobile LTE speeds (up to 150Mbps download speed and 50Mbps upload speed). 

As expected the 4G Harrier Tablet is available on contract from EE, starting from £16 per month. There is a PAYG option which lets you buy the tablet for £199.99 and the device is free on a 24 month contracts costing £18 per month with additional perks like 10GB monthly data allowance as well as EE’s Double Speed 4G.
