EE Hawk announced with MTK6750 SoC, LTE Cat 6 Support

UK’s biggest 4G network, EE has announced a new 4G smartphone – the EE Hawk. The mid-ranger will be available from the 1st of December for £149.99 (or from £14.99 per month on a contract). It comes with 6 months of free Apple Music, a free pair of JBL headphones and 3 months of free access to BT Sport.

The EE Hawk theoretically supports 4G speeds up to 300Mbps (LTE Cat 6 support) as well as Wi-Fi Calling and 4G Calling. It sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorila Glass protection (front and back) and depends on a 2,500mAh battery which is expected to last up to 10 hours of usage.

On the inside, the Hawk is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6750 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage. It features a rear fingerprint sensor, rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash, front facing 8MP camera, NFC and boots Android 7.1 Nougat OS out-of-the-box.
