Elephone has finally launched the Elephone Ivory smartphone; the 5-inch sized device was announced back in Early November. It has gone on sale this December for a price tag equivalent to $99, it could however cost more when pre-ordered from third party website including shipping costs.
House in a metal body which becoming a norm, the Elephone Ivory sports a 5-inch 720p display with 2.5D Arc screen, 95% NTSC colour gamut and a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage space.
The device doesn’t actually run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box but a prompt update to the new OS is expected in coming days. It has Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby, supports 4G LTE in both SIM slots and is backed by a 2850mAh battery.
