Elephone Ivory with MTK6753 SoC and 4G LTE costs $99.99

Brands like Elephone, Oukitel and Bluboo has been in the news for the past few months with their different offerings. With the year coming to an end and components costing less in the market, the lesser known brands from China are dishing out sub-$100 smartphones and Elephone has joined in the chase.

Towards the end of November, Elephone is expected to release the Elephone Ivory which will go on sale for $99.99. The device will sport a 5-inch 2.5D display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor with the RAM being either 1GB or 2GB.

There is not much information regarding the Elephone Ivory but it is expected to runs Android Lollipop OS, have Dual SIM and support LTE connectivity. Unless on rare occasions, Elephone launches most of its phone in China (and environs)  is unlikely it will be different this time with the Ivory.

Elephone has been busy all year round, and recently the company’s subsidiary brand – ECOO announced the phablet sized ECOO E06. The device is the first to be powered by the Mediatek Helio P10 SoC; sports a 5.5-inch FHD display, a fingerprint scanner and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. 

For the aforementioned price tag, the Ivory from Elephone is perfect for those who want LTE on a budget and not forgetting it would be powered by an octa-core processor.
