The Elephone P6000 is set to join the recently announced Nexus 6 as another smartphone which would run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
First of all, if you aren’t an ardent follower of Chinese OEMs or devices you might not have heard of Elephone. The company is offering the Lollipop on a mid-range specs which means the Nexus 6 can still rest easy as the only device for now to run to OS from day one.
The Elephone P6000 packs a 5-inch 720 x 1280 pixels resolution display, a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6732 processor with Mali-T760 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.Other spec details includes – LTE support, Dual SIM functionality, a microSD card slot, 13MP rear camera, a front facing 2MP camera and a 2700mAh battery.
To pick up the Elephone P6000 you would to wait till after Christmas (December 27 to be exact) for a price tag of around $170. This would definitely go down in history as the first taste of the Android 5.0 Lollipop on budget device.
I love its awesome futures but the battery issue is another thing.
