Elephone got everyone talking towards the end of last year by announcing the Elephone P5000 smartphone with 5350mAh battery dethroning the Philips W6618 with 5300mAh battery. The company has a new offering for 2015 – the Elephone P7000 (Elephone P7000 Pioneer) is the company’s flagship smartphone for the year.
The Elephone P7000 Pioneer sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 450ppi. The body has a metal frame which gives it a premium look and comes with touch type fingerprint ID support.
Under the hood is an Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor (64-bit) with Mali-760MP, 3GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot on-board which expands storage up to 64GB.
Photography on the device is handled by a capable 13MP (or 16MP) AF main camera made by Sony with Flash light and a front facing 8MP (or 5MP) camera for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, FM Radio, USB 2.0, 2G/GSM, 3G/WCDMA and 4G LTE (LTE-FDD Band 1/3/7). Sensor options on the Device includes – Light sensor, Proximity Sensor and G Sensor.
As expected the Elephone P7000 support Dual SIM card slots (with dual standby) runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a 3450mAh (or 3200mAh) battery. The smartphone is also compatible with most Skinned android version or stock Android options such as MIUI, Flyme, Freeme OS, EMUI and the likes; these can also be downloaded from the company’s official website.
