Elephone showcased an upcoming smartphone with 2K display at the Global Source Mobile Electronics Fair in Hong Kong. The device was showcased alongside the Elephone P7000 and Elephone G9.
While there is no definitive name for the device, it is said to be a flagship device and would be released towards the end of the year. The device see a switch to Intel from MediaTek which could be said to be the first from the company.
The upcoming Elephone flagship features a 2K display, powered by an Intel processor, 4GB of RAM and Touch ID fingerprint security. The rear camera is said to be a 21MP Sony IMX230 sensor and there is a front camera also onboard but the exact Megapixel is unknown.
The device is was showcased running Windows 10 and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS; it is too early to say whether it would use the Dual OS setup or it would have different variants using either OS. Nevertheless, until we see an actual image of the device it could still be classified as a rumour for now.
