Cube is a Chinese brand associated with tablets, the company has just debuted a new entry-level tablet which currently sells for under $100 ($85) but the price could still change. The tablet in question is the Cube iWork 8 Ultimate (or Cube iWork 8 Plus) and comes in White colour only.
Going into details, the Cube iWork 8 Ultimate is powered by an Intel Atom X5-Z8300 64-bit quad-core (Cherry Trail) processor clocked at 1.84GHz with Intel Graphics Gen8 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space. It sports a 8-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and runs Windows 10 OS.
In the camera segment, it has a front facing and rear facing 2 Megapixels camera and for additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. Connectivity options available includes – Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and USB OTG.
Using the OTG feature, the Cube iWork 8 Ultimate can be connected with a mouse, monitor and keyboard to convert it into a workstation of some sort. It measures 214 x 133 x 8.8mm in dimensions, weighs about 340 grams in size and is backed by a rather disappointing 3300mAh battery.
