Entry-Level Karbonn Titanium S200 HD costs $75

The Karbonn Titanium S200 HD is the latest smartphone from the company’s Titanium series of devices. The entry-level device is available exclusively on Snapdeal for Rs 4999 ($75) in Black, Blue Silver and Coffee Champagne colours. Users also get a free protective case to go along with it.

Speaking at the launch event of the Karbonn Titanium S200 HD, Executive Director, Karbonn Mobiles India, Shaashin Devsare said,

With smartphones becoming the primary screen for consuming entertainment content, we identified the need for bringing superior screen experience in the budget segment. Titanium S200 HD comes with an HD IPS display offering life-like vibrant image quality for an enhanced smartphone experience. Moving to the specifications, the Titanium S200 HD sports a 5-inch (1280×720) HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SPC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB RAM, 8GB native storage space and for additional storage there is a microSD card slot which supports cards up to 32GB.

On the back, there is a 8MP camera with LED flash and the front camera is a 3.2MP snapper for selfies. The device runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with promised upgrade Android Lollipop OS and connectivity options on the device includes – microUSB v2.0 port, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G HSPA+.

The Karbonn Titanium S200 HD has Dual SIM slots, supports 21 Indian local languages, weighs 142 grams, measures 144 x 72 x 8mm in dimensions and is backed by a 2600mAh battery that promises up to 9 hours of talk time and 650 hours of standby time.
