Lenovo has launched a new mid-tier smartphone in the K series of devices in China. Dubbed the Lenovo K10, the new device which was recently certified on TENAA, will arrive in two RAM and storage options, and will be sold via China Telecom. The 1GB RAM model will retail for CNY 599 (~ $90) while the 2GB model for CNY 799 (~ $119). Black, White and Yellow are some of the available colour options..
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS from the onset and backed by a fairly moderate 2300mAh battery; the Lenovo K10 (K10e70) sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS LCD display, has an all plastic polycarbonate body build, measures 7.9mm thick and weighs in at 164 grams.
Under the hood, the K10 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor clocked at 1.11GHz along with either 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space or 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in space. Both storage options are expandable via a microSD card slot.
In the camera aspect, there is a rear facing 8MP AF camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for video calling and selfies. The Lenovo K10 has Dual SIM slots (Mini + Micro), supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks as well as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and micro USB v2.0.
