Its no longer news we get to see a new Samsung smartphone almost everyday or see the South Korean based giants in the news always. Reports coming it details that Samsung is looking to announce a new budget centric Galaxy smartphone. The new smartphone in question is the Samsung Galaxy V.
The Samsung Galaxy V is expected to feature a 4-inch (480 x 854 pixels) FWVGA TFT display, powered by a 1.2GHz processor (unknown chipset) paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage space. For additional storage, there is a micro SD card slot which accepts up to 32/64GB cards.
For photography, there is a rear facing 3-megapixels camera with LED flash but no front camera is mentioned. Connectivity options onboard includes – GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, micro USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM Radio and 3G.
The Samsung Galaxy V runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out-of-the box, has dual-SIM functionality, dimensions – 121.4 x 62.9 x 10.7 mm, weight – 123 grams and is backed by a 1500mAh battery which can provide up to 8 hours of talk time.
The Galaxy V is listed with the coming soon tag and a price tag of 2,290,000 dongs (around N18,000 in Naira using the current exchange rate as at today).
