Telenor Myanmar, a subsidiary of Norwegian-based Telenor, has released tis first ever 4G smartphone – the Telenor T500 4G. The entry-level device is available from Telenor COCO, FOFO and Telenor Retail Shops for 110,000 Myanmar Kyat (US$ 87) and arrives in Champagne Gold and Stylish Gray colour options.
Running the dated Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Telenor T500 4G sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 2.5D glass design and 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and a metal unibody design.
On the inside, the device relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6735P processor clocked at 1.0GHz along with 1GB of RAM, microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB and supports 4G LTE (Cat. 4) connectivity. It packs Dual SIM slots, front facing 5MP camera and a rear facing 8MP AutoFocus camera. Both the front and rear cameras have LED flash.
The Telenor T500 4G measures 142.6 x 73.1 x 8.4 mm in dimensions, weighs 141.2 grams and and backed by a 2700mAh battery, which should last up to a day of normal usage. . It also comes with an 18-month warranty and those who purchase the device will receive free 1GB of data monthly for a period of six months.
