ZTE has announced the ZTE Blade AF3 which is headed for Russia. The entry-level device is said to be available in the country exclusively via svyaznoy.ru for RUB 3190 ($49/€44) in Black and White colour options. There is no word on availability in other countries but India could be a likelier destination.
The ZTE Blade AF3 (also known as the ZTE T221) sports a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) WVGA TFT display and a pixel density of about 233ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with ARM Mali 400 MP4 GPU, 512MB of RAM and 4GB space of internal storage.
There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. On the back, there is a 5MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the Blade AF3 includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, USB 2.0, micro USB, GPS/AGPS and 3G.
Sensor options includes – Light, Proximity and Accelerometer. The ZTE Blade AF3 measures 125 x 63.80 x 11.50 mm in dimensions, weighs 127 grams, supports Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby, built-in Radio, runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 1400mAh Li-ion battery with a standby time of 154 hours.
