ZTE is preparing a high-end device and it is expected to announce the device in coming weeks or in a short time. The device in question is the ZTE Star 2.
The ZTE Star 2 has been spotted putting through its paces on the TENAA and as it is expected we are able to gather much information about the upcoming flagship. It packs a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The ZTE Star 2 is expected to be powered by a 32-bit Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.5GHz, no word on microSD card slot and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with ZTE Skinned UI ontop. The handset measures 154 x 77 x 9.8mm, has an aluminium body build.
The handset would come with a rear facing 13MP camera which would have a Sony Sensor and Dual Tone Flash. A front facing 8MP camera is also on-board.
When ZTE would announce the Star 2 is unknown but the device is expected to be priced around CNY 1999 ($320). It is a bargain I must say for a device with flagship specs and 4G LTE.
