The battle for the thinnest smartphone in the market gets hotter by the season, the Oppo R5(4.85mm) had seen the reign of the Gionee Elife S5.1 (5.1mm)come to an end. But that could also come to an end as we have seen a more incredibly thin smartphone in form of the Vivo X5 Max (4.75mm).
The Vivo X5 Max has been spotted on TENAA, china’s equivalent of the US’ FCC and some of the key specs has been spotted. The major selling point is obviously its 4.7mm thickness (full dimensions – 153.9 × 78 × 4.75mm; 146 grams as the weight).
Asides that other specs includes – Support for LTE connectivity, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, 1.7GHz octa-core CPU, 5.5-inch 1080p capacitive touchscreen display, 13MP main camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper.
The Vivo X5 Max is nearing a China debut soon; but availability outside the home country is unknown at the moment.
